KARACHIWith the current situation in Swat, Faysal Bank has made arrangements for its Mingora branch customers to access their bank accounts through any branch of the bank throughout Pakistan and avail banking services with the same level of efficiency as they would in their home town.

In support of the government’s effort towards helping the IDP’s the bank has also opened two accounts for collecting donations from general public entitled Prime Minister’s Special Fund for Victims of Terrorism (A/C#: 0110-006-0040119) and Chief Minister’s Fund NWFP for internally Displaced Persons 2009 (A/C#: 0110-006-0040116). In addition to these accounts the employees of Faysal Bank too have put in personal efforts and contributed generously to help the IDP’s.

Faysal Bank has been operating in Pakistan since 1987 and is listed on the Karachi and Lahore Stock Exchanges.

The Bank has approximately 2000 employees, a branch network of 129 branches, two sub branches, one sale and service centre and an ATM network of 93 in 38 cities across Pakistan. Faysal Bank’s strength is validated by its credit ranking of AA (Double A) for long term and A1+ (A1 Plus) for short term assigned to it by both by PACRA and JCR VIS.

The Bank has recently been awarded a “Certificate of Excellence” by Management Association of Pakistan for its good corporate governance and best business practices.
