Faysal aikFaisla Health Care Plan has been developed to cover you, and when required, your spouse and your children (above 90 days of age) in case of an illness or accident that may lead to hospitalization. With a simple and convenient cashless process along with a vast network of carefully selected hospitals, rest assured, you and your family will receive the most appropriate treatment, up to the selected benefit limit.

Insurance Company

Room Entitlement & Annual Per Insured Limits

You have the choice to select between Semi Private or Private Rooms, along with corresponding Annual limits of PKR 150,000, PKR 300,000 and PKR 500,000 respectively based on the plan of your choice.

In patient Hospitalization

The policy pays for expenses incurred on hospitalization due to Accident and Sickness. The covered In-Patient hospitalization expenses include:

  • Room and Board Charges
  • Nursing Care during hospitalization
  • ICU and Operation Theatre Charges
  • Medicines and Lab Tests during Hospitalization
  • Physician, Surgeon and Anesthetists Fees
  • Oxygen and Blood Supplies

Pre and Post hospitalization benefit:

The policy covers cost of consultation fee, prescribed medicines and lab tests which, within thirty (30) days that leads to hospitalization that is covered under the policy up to the assigned limits (refer to benefits table).

Lacerated Wound & Fractures

Apart from in-patient hospitalization, the policy also covers treatment for lacerated wounds and fractures that require the patient to occupy a hospital bed but does not require an overnight stay.

Intensive Care Treatment

The policy covers treatment costs incurred in case of admission to Intensive care unit as well up to the assigned limit of the policy plan.

Life Insurance Coverage

The policy provides a life insurance coverage benefit to the beneficiaries of the customer up to a limit of PKR 100,000 in case of death due to any cause.

Hassle-free Enrollment Process

No medical documents/medical tests are required to avail this policy.

What is Free Look-in Period?

Free Look-in Period is a 14 days grace time after receiving the policy documents during which you can understand the terms and conditions of Faysal aikFaisla Health Care Plan and in case of any concerns, you may choose to cancel the plan and obtain a full refund of your premium paid.

Who do I contact for any complaints?

What is the procedure of lodging claims?

For claims, please contact IGI Life Insurance Ltd. – Claims Manager at (021) 111-111- 711 from anywhere in Pakistan or send an email to [email protected]

In how many days will my claims be settled?

IGI Life Insurance Ltd. will settle all claims within 15 business day of completion of required documentation.

Am I insured while travelling or vacationing overseas?

Yes, the policy provides global coverage. However claims will be decided in Pakistani Rupees in Pakistan as per the Policy terms and conditions and payments will be made on a reimbursement basis.

How do I buy Faysal aikFaisla Health Care Plan?

You shall receive a call from Faysal bank Business Development Unit (BDU) for enrollment and if you are a healthy adult Pakistani of up to 68 years of age, you will be enrolled upon your acceptance. No medical examination is required.

Whom I can enroll under my policy?

You can include your spouse up to the age of 64 years and dependent children above 90 days old, in your policy. Once enrolled, the coverage can be continued up to 75th birthday.

What is the General Waiting Period?

In the first policy year, coverage would be effective after fifteen (15) days once the policy has been issued and has been delivered to the Main Insured Member, except for Accidental Emergencies which will be covered from the effective date of the policy.

What are the advantages of a Network Hospital?

IGI Life Assurance has developed a network carefully selected hospitals nationwide. You can download a complete list of Network Hospitals from their website

Can I be treated at a Non-Network Hospital?

Yes! But the initial treatment expenses will be borne by you. IGI Life will reimburse these expenses on submission of the original bills, subject to reasonable charges that would have been incurred at a comparable network hospital for a similar treatment.

Are pre-existing medical conditions covered?

Pre-existing medical condition means any sickness, disease or injury or any symptom related to such sickness, disease or injury which has been diagnosed, treated or is under treatment or has been known, even if no medical advice or treatment was sought, before the effective date of this insurance.
Pre-existing conditions, if any, must be disclosed by the insured member at the time of enrollment. Any treatments due to pre-existing condition are not covered under this policy.

Are there any exclusions?

Expense arising from or related to Pre-existing conditions, Pregnancy and Childbirth, Outpatient treatment, congenital birth defects, war, invasion, civil unrest, infertility, cosmetic treatment, routine medical checkup etc. are not covered. Are there any in-admissible conditions?

The policy is not available to people suffering from Cancer, Diabetes or HIV/AIDS

Will I be refunded the premium if I cancel the policy after Free Look period?

No premium will be refunded after the Free Look period is over.

In how many days will I receive the policy documents?

Your policy documents along with your Health card will be dispatched to you within 10 working days once the account has been debited.

What is the procedure in case I want to cancel Faysal aikFaisla Family Health Plan?

You may either call Customer Interaction Centre at 111 06 06 06 or provide a written cancellation request by visiting any Faysal Bank branch. Premium will only be refunded if the request has been submitted within 14 days (Free Look Period) after receiving the policy document provided there is no claim.
