Document Required

  • Copies: Attested copies of CNIC \ NICOP\ Passport of authorized signatories
  • MDF: Completed and Signed Merchant Data Form (MDF)
  • Agreement: Signed Merchant Agreement (Signatures on agreement should be same as on CNIC)
  • NTN: Copy of NTN Certificate

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Any online business with a valid NTN based or registered in Pakistan can sign up for Faysal Payment Gateway.

At the time of onboarding, it’s mandatory for merchant to have a FBL business account. In case merchant already have a business account and there is no need for opening a fresh account.

  1. After signing & processing of merchant application form, merchant can integrate with payment gateway in 2 -3 days using pre-developed plugins

Yes, International credit and debit card payments are accepted.

Settlement timeline varies from business to business depending on the risk factor associated to nature of business and the commercials that are proposed to the merchant.

Yes. The transaction status is updated in the transaction report on merchant portal real-time. Merchant may further integrate with our enquiry API to fetch the order status against every order ID.

Yes, we do have a fraud guard in place. It evaluates each transaction on the defined fraud control parameters.

Yes, Merchant will be able to charge the customer in their selected local currency and FBL will settle the payment in PKR.

FBL have made integrations absolutely seamless and simple for its merchant & provide the following Plugins

  • Integration plugins for plug & play integration for the E-commerce platforms including WooCommerce, React, Magento, Microsoft .NET

Chargeback is processed as per global scheme rules. Once dispute is received from scheme. Merchant is notified and required to share the supporting documents which varies from nature of dispute, received supporting documents are shared with scheme who provides it to issuer and dispute is settled, if merchant is not at fault as per provided evidence. In case merchant is at fault, merchant has to refund to the customer. The issuer and merchant may opt for arbitration in case they don't agree with each other. If merchant loses the arbitration case, they will have to refund the transaction and also bear a penalty of $500. In case issuer loses the case, issuer bears the penalty and merchant keeps the funds of transaction.
