Prime Minister Youth Business Programme at Faysal Bank Limited-Barkat Islamic Banking

Faysal Bank Limited -Barkat Islamic Banking is the first Islamic window operations in Pakistan to offer the Prime Minister Youth Business Programme under Shariah compliant modes of finance.

Under this Programme, Faysal Bank Limited will offer Shariah compliant facilities such as Murabaha, Diminishing Musharakah & Ijarah to cater to the needs of individuals / SMEs / Consumers.

Salient Features

1. Islamic mode of Financing through:

• Ijarah
• Diminishing Musharakah

2. Basis for Rental/Profit Rate
   As per SBP regulations: 6.00% fixed for customers. Government will pay the difference of the cost at KIBOR+500bps

3. Maximum Financing Limit
   Up to Rs. 2,000,000 (Two Million)

4. Diminishing Musharakah share
   90% (maximum): 10% (minimum)

6. Tenor
   Up to 8 Years
