3. What if I already have an account with FBL? Can I open other account as well?
Yes. You can open a digital account even if you already maintain an account with FBL.

4. Who is eligible to open Freelancer Digital Account?
All individuals, resident in Pakistan, engaged in provision of any digital/online services, including IT and IT related services against which payments are received from outside Pakistan.

5. What currencies are available for this account?
The account can be opened in PKR and other retention account will be opened in FCY.

6. What is retention account?
Retention Account is a foreign currency account in which your funds can be retained upto 50% and it can be used for international payments.

7. Can I avail a debit card on retention account?
Yes, FCY debit card will be offered to retention account of freelancers

8. Can I perform cash withdrawal from FCY debit card?
Cash withdrawal shall only be done in PKR. FCY cash withdrawal from retention accounts shall not be allowed in Pakistan. However, cash withdrawal outside the Pakistan using debit card shall be allowed.

9. How many Foreign Currency are being offered to the retention account?
Retention Account currencies are being offered in USD, Euro, Pound & Yen.

10. What documents are required to open a Digital Freelancer account via Faysal Digital onboarding?

• CNIC/SNIC/NICOP/POC
• Undertaking of Income
• Undertaking of Beneficiary of Funds
• Specimen Digital Signature
• Live Selfie(picture)
• Bio-Metric verification (Mandatory)

11. How long does it take to open an account?
Account will be opened within 48 hours.

Currently, we are offering individual Pakistan resident for the Freelancer Digital Account

16. Which type of segment can open an account in Faysal Digital onboarding?

17. What is the process after registration and uploading all relevant documents to Faysal Digital onboarding Portal?
After completing the Portal requirements, Customer can connect to Bank’s dedicated RMs

18. How can I know that my account is opened?
You will receive a confirmation mail and a SMS on your registered Email Address and Mobile Number respectively once account is opened.

19. If I tick the Self declaration for Asaan Digital Account /Asaan Digital Remittance Account/Freelancer Digital Accounts, will I need to submit/upload documents?
No additional document required.

20. How can I performed Bio-metric for Freelancer Digital Account?
You just need to download the Faysal Burraq App to perform your bio-metric verification during the onboarding journey.

Note: Customer are not required to be PMD (Pakistan MNP Database) verified for the Freelancer Digital Account.
