How do I activate my Faysal UnionPay Debit Card?

Please follow the steps below for the activation of your Faysal UnionPay Debit Card:

  • Call our Customer Interaction Centre at 021 111 06 06 06 from your registered landline or mobile phone number. In case the card is issued against your BTF account, kindly call from your registered landline number.
  • The Phone Banking Officer will ask for your card number and will require some standard verifications.
  • The Phone Banking Officer will transfer you to IVR where you will be able to generate your phone banking T-PIN.
  • After successful T-PIN generation, further verification will take place and your card will be activated.
  • After your card has been activated, you will again be transferred to IVR for ATM PIN generation.

How can I use my Faysal UnionPay Debit Card?

Please refer to the following step-by-step instructions on how to use your Faysal UnionPay Debit Card:

Step 1
Look
You can use your Faysal UnionPay Debit Card wherever you see the  at any merchant location in Pakistan or globally.

Step 2
Buy
Choose the item you would like to buy and take it to the counter.

Step 3
Swipe
The cashier / merchant will ask for your card and will insert it in the Point of Sale machine present at the counter.

Step 4
Enter Pin
The cashier / merchant will the ask you to enter your 4 digits of pin and will wait for the transaction to be authorized. The cashier / merchant will the handover your copy of the receipt and sales slip to you

What are the Daily Limits of Faysal UnionPay Debit Card?

Please refer to the table below for your daily transactional limits on your Faysal UnionPay Debit Card:

*Limit can be increased for special cases up to Rs. 50,000/- for ATM and Rs. 200,000/- for POS transactions

** Limit can be increased for special cases up to Rs. 100,000/- for ATM and Rs. 500,000/- for POS transactions

What should I do to ensure the safety and security of my Faysal UnionPay Debit Card?

  • Sign the card as soon as you receive it.
  • Keep your card in a safe place at all times.
  • If you forget or lose your PIN, please call our Customer Interaction Centre at 021 111 06 06 06 to generate a new PIN.
  • In case of emergency while travelling abroad, please call the UnionPay Overseas Service Hotline number for the respective country you are in. For further information regarding UnionPay Overseas Service Hotline, please visit our website https://www.unionpayintl.com/en/serviceCenter/hotline/
  • Please do not share your PIN with anyone.
  • Please do not write the PIN on the card or anywhere else.
  • Please do not share your PIN over the phone or email to anyone, as bank never asks such information from customers.

Please report your lost or stolen card as soon as you realize it, to minimize the risk of unauthorized transactions.

What should I do if my Faysal UnionPay Debit Card is lost or stolen?

As soon as you realise that your card is lost or stolen, please report it immediately by calling our Customer Interaction Centre at 111 06 06 06 so that your card is blocked. A new card will be replaced upon your request.
