How do I activate my Faysal Bank Debit Mastercard?

Please follow the steps below for the activation of your Faysal Bank Debit Mastercard:

  • Request OTP (One Time PIN) sending SMS to 9181 as per below format:
    DC <CNIC> <Last 04digits of Debit Card>
  • An OTP will be sent to you after verification of mobile number, CNIC and Debit Card
  • Next, visit FBL ATM, insert your Debit Card in ATM, ATM machine will identify the card and will ask the you to enter OTP
  • After OTP validation, ATM will take you to the new screen to set new ATM / POS PIN
  • FBL will send onscreen message for activation confirmation after successful ATM/POS PIN creation

Please follow the steps below for the activation of your Faysal Bank Debit Mastercard:

  • Call our Customer Interaction Centre at 021 111 06 06 06 from your registered landline or mobile phone number. In case the card is issued against your BTF account, kindly call from your registered landline number.
  • The Phone Banking Officer will ask for your card number and will require some standard verifications.
  • The Phone Banking Officer will transfer you to IVR where you will be able to generate your phone banking T-PIN.
  • After successful T-PIN generation, further verification will take place and your card will be activated.
  • After your card has been activated, you will again be transferred to IVR for ATM PIN generation.

Look
You can use your Faysal Bank Debit Mastercard wherever you see the  at any merchant location in Pakistan or globally.

Step 2
Buy
Choose the item you would like to buy and take it to the counter.

Step 3
Swipe
The cashier / merchant will ask for your card and will insert it in the Point of Sale machine present at the counter.

Step 4
Enter Pin
The cashier / merchant will the ask you to enter your 4 digits of pin and will wait for the transaction to be authorized. The cashier / merchant will the handover your copy of the receipt and sales slip to you.

What should I do to ensure the safety and security of my Faysal Bank Debit Mastercard?

  • Sign the card as soon as you receive it.
  • Keep your card in a safe place at all times.
  • If you forget or lose your PIN, please call our Customer Interaction Centre at 021 111 06 06 06 to generate a new PIN.
  • In case of emergency while travelling abroad, please call the Mastercard Global Services number for the respective country you are in.   • Please do not share your PIN with anyone.
  • Please do not write the PIN on the card or anywhere else.

What should I do if my Faysal Bank Debit Mastercard is lost or stolen?

As soon as you realise that your card is lost or stolen, please report it immediately by calling our Customer Interaction Centre at 111 06 06 06 so that your card is blocked. A new card will be replaced upon your request.

All Faysal Bank account holders can apply for the Faysal Bank Classic, Gold & Titanium Debit Mastercard.

Who can apply for Solitaire Platinum Debit Card?

Faysal Bank account holders who fall under the eligibility criteria mentioned below for their respective account can apply for the Solitaire Platinum Debit Card.
