Step by Step Process

Send OTP request to 9181
OTP Received
Visit ATM & Validate OTP
Generate new ATM & POS PIN
Debit Card ACTIVATED

Step 1

Customer will request OTP (One Time PIN) by sending SMS to 9181 from registered number: DC <CNIC> <Last 04digits of Debit Card>

Step 2

An OTP will be sent to customer after verification of mobile number, CNIC and Debit Card

Step 3

Next, customer will visit FBL ATM, Inserts his Debit Card in ATM, ATM machine will identify the card and will ask the customer to enter OTP

Step 4

After OTP validation, ATM will take customer to the new screen to set new ATM / POS PIN

Step 5

FBL will send onscreen message for Activation confirmation after successful ATM/POS PIN creation

Important points to be noted:

Customer should send SMS from his/her registered mobile number available in our system
If mobile number is not updated, then branch should take the request for mobile number update
Customer can use Any FBL ATM for Debit card activation, available 24/7
Customer will Generate 4-digit PIN thru ATM only and card will be activated
Same 4-Digit PIN will be used for both ATM and POS (Point of Sale) purchase transaction
